Job Description
The Role
We are looking for a Lead Architect – ideally someone who has (some) experience with:
- Create an environment where engineers can perform at their best and grow both as individuals and as a team
- Drive the product forward with a product focused mindset
- Develop projects or features in a team or on your own, push them forward to meet deadlines and support the business, proactively identify and clear potential blockers or unknowns
- Actively drive our efforts in defining and implementing a modern, scalable architecture
- Reporting to VP Engineering
- Work closely together with our VP Engineering and Head of Backend
Requirements
- Previous and proven experience leading a team of engineers
- Experience building and shipping software
- Experience in working with modern tools and architecture
- Great communication and motivation skills
- Hands-on programming experience – at Monta all technical staff is supposed to take part in developing / reviewing as well
Nice to have:
- Experience with working in a scale-up (50-250 people)
- Experience with Kotlin, PHP and/or Java
- Experience as Scrum Master, Technical Product Manager or similar can be helpful
- Experience with infrastructure (AWS)
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience working as Solution Architect
