During this new episode of our Founder series, we are sitting down with Federico Garcea Co-founder & CEO @ Treedom. Federico will share with you his unusual story, starting with selling gelato when he was 15, to an “addiction” to “Farmville” that led him to create Treedom, the first online community in the world that allows you to plant trees remotely and follow them online. We will cover with him the evolution of the “ Agroforestry projects ” landscape today and how it is changing with the help of emerging market forces. Then we will go deeper into Treedom, in order to understand how they manage to geo-localize, photograph and give impact reports of more than 2M trees to each owner on the platform. We will also cover Treedom’s climate and social impact and how they measure it with their local partners.
